Viruses are bad, but just imagine how bad it could be.
Just imagine if those who created e-mail borne viruses, those programmers who undoubtedly spend countless hours coming up with gems like the Love Bug and Melissa actually took the time, or had the skills, to write subject lines less suspicious than "ILOVEYOU", or body text less pathetic than this, the one that recently infected my sweetie's computer:Hi! How are you?Think of the damage that could have been done if this had said "Could you have a look at this and tell me what you think?" Referring, of course, to the randomly selected Word document that attaches itself to this particular pest.

Whoa. I didn't realize the extent of the denial in this office. I saw some last glimmers of hope get quashed today.
It's sickening to watch our office decay. People here have passions and visions that will never be realized in this company. How can they possibly stay motivated? How can they possibly instill years of enthusiasm to people in another city, who are being given a mandate that has nothing to do with our legacy?
It's over. Expect nothing. Move on. Try and enjoy yourself while you're here.

Upon Howie telling me this morning that he couldn't even publish his Blog because Splorp was out of server space, I realized why I couldn't load any more of those high-res versions of Gord and Norah's wedding onto Cacomixl! I think I was being a space hog. So I deleted them. Nothing but medium-quality JPEGs are up there now.
If you can read this, that means I freed up some room.
